Features of CN-eco type equipment (energy-saving model)
  By the combination of two advanced technologies, (1) and (2), N2 gas generation per unit power increase up to 42% compare to the conventional model.
(1)  Improvement of the unit consumption achieved the "industry-highest level."

Newly developed highly efficient adsorbent (Molecular Sieving Carbon) improved the separation efficiency of N2 significantly. (See "PSA" in the figure on the right. Increased by 18%.)

(2)  Further improvement of the unit consumption by combining with VS model compressors.

The advanced Kobelion-VS inverter compressor, which achieved the highest level of energy saving performance, supplies the feed air for the PSA efficiently, and increased the N2 gas generation per unit power consumption substantially.
(See "VS model" in the figure on the right. Increased up to 24%.

Power consumption reduction in respond to the turndown use of N2 gas(power consumption reduction during turndown operation)
Combination of the following two technologies, (1) and (2), reduces the power consumption further in respond to the less use of N2 gas from the rating volume (at turndown operation).


(1) New control method of the adsorption and desorption cycle time according to the N2 gas flow rate.
- By the control of the adsorption and desorption cycle time for the N2 gas flow rate used, rather than the conventional control method by the pressure in N2 gas holders, provides further energy saving at turndown operation.
- Stable, low load continuous compressor operation is ensured regardless of the capacity and pressure difference of N2 gasholders.
  (2) An advanced inverter compressor (Kobelion-VS model) with high energy efficiency

- Reduces the mechanical loss thoroughly by connecting the screw compressor with the motor directly.
Reduces the energy loss (heat generation) by mounting a high-speed permanent magnet motor (IPM motor)
- Optimizes the energy efficiency, including the cooling fan, by mounting a special inverter.

(4) Space-saving
By the high efficient absorbent, new model require the smaller cabinet and one rank downsized compressor comparing with the conventional model.
It achieves in a compact, space-saving N2 gas generator, compared with the conventional model (CN type).

(In the example on the right, the installation space and the weigh are reduced by 28% and 38%, respectively, for the same flow. These figures may change depending on the model, or by reviewing the design in the future. The model numbers in the figures are applied for Japan.)
